Blocking

Real fast, here's 3 articles about blocking from sources I love.

A good overall explanation of different techniques and fibers from
knitty.com:

http://www.knitty.com/issuewinter02/FEATdiyknitter.html

Something specifically concerning lace from Eunny Jang's blog:

http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2006/12/how_to_be_happy.html

Lots of great info (especially about why) from TECHknitter:

http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2008/03/why-block-hand-knits-heres-
why-and-how.html

Considering I have really only blocked one thing once (which involved
soaking a hat and letting it sit on Greg's head), I can't offer any
firsthand advice so hopefully these links will help.
I will be blocking a sweater coming up real soon and will probably photograph the process.

Naju kNitters

Seoul Stitch n Bitch isn't the only expat knitting group in Korea. I also know of a group that's meeting down in Naju.

I contacted Leah (MagicKnitter on ravelry.com) and this is what she had to say about the group:

Right now we’re meeting on Tuesday nights at Kenya Espresso in Naju. My cell number is 010-6870-1939 if anyone wants to join and can’t find us or needs to talk. It’s three of us right now, but we’d be happy to have some more. Thanks!

You can also email her at knittingmagicgirl@gmail but she says that the phone is the easiest way to get in touch with her.
